What is AskProfit?
AskProfit is a free service that connects people with financial professionals of all kinds. Users submit a question on AskProfit.com, and multiple experts will reply with answers, usually within hours. AskProfit has experts in fields from financial planning, brokerage, to tax and insurance. If you have a financial question, use AskProfit.com and get the answer you are looking for, fast and free.
Who are the people answering my questions?
AskProfit.com has established relationships with leading financial experts across the country to answer questions. When viewing an answer, you can view the answer’s profile to help you better understand their expertise and experience. And since you will get multiple answers per question, you are certain to find the right answer and expert to meet your needs.
Do I need to create an account to use AskProfit and what do I need to sign up?
To use AskProfit you will need to setup an account. An account is Free, and only requires you fill out a short form, including name, address, phone, and email. We do not sell your private information, and have a zero tolerance spam policy. To learn more about how we collect and protect personal information, view our terms of service.
Do I need to log onto AskProfit every time I visit? In order to view your answers, ask additional questions, or change your registration information, you must login to your account at AskProfit.com.

How do I submit a question?
To submit a question, just type your question in the question box on AskProfit.com, choose your category, and click “ask question”. You will then have to either login or register for free with AskProfit.com. Once you have logged in, your question will be submitted to our network of experts. When an answer has been submitted, you will receive an email notification.
What questions can I ask?
AskProfit is intended as a financial content website, so any question regarding finance is appropriate, including questions on stocks, futures, options, credit, mortgages, financial planning, retirement planning, and general finance. AskProfit discourages and may remove questions that:
  • request private information about individuals
  • want assistance in conducting illegal activities
  • are meant to sell or advertise products
  • refer or relate to adult content
    • How will I get my answers back?

    You will receive an email notification that an answer has been submitted to your question. You must then login to AskProfit.com to view the answer.
    How many answers will I receive?
    AskProfit does not limit how many answers you will receive. If you were to ask a general finance question, you may get 1 or 2 answers, as the question may then be answered. If you request a stock opinion, for example, you may get 10+ answers, as multiple experts will have differing opinions on any stock.
    What are the Helpful – Not Helpful buttons? What do they do?
    Once you have received an answer, we ask you to please rate the answer as helpful or not helpful. If the answer was helpful, the expert will receive a rating point and will be given access to follow up with you in more detail. If an answer was not helpful, then the answer will be removed from our database and the expert will receive a negative rating point.
    The goal of the helpful, not helpful system is to ensure that only quality answers are being received, and that you are able to receive quality information from experts whose answers you appreciate and trust.
    Will my question and answer be publicly viewable?
    Yes. Your question and the corresponding answer will be posted on the web and viewable by the public. However, your personal information and identity will never be posted with your question, so your privacy is protected.
    Will others be able to see my email address if I ask a question?
    No. We do not display anyone's email address or other form of identity next to any question, comment, or answer.
    What happens to people who spam AskProfit?
    Users who spam AskProfit will have their account revoked. If you see evidence of spamming, please contact us at info@askprofit.com
